Great Gear

Our mission is to provide children in need, such as refugees and underprivileged children, in the DMV area the sports equipment they need to participate in any sport in which they would like to excel.  Often, the financial burden of equipment and gear could prevent a child from participating in sports they like. At Great Gear we collect your gently used equipment that you have grown out of or no longer need and distribute it to organizations and groups that help families in need. Through your donations and our outreach programs we can achieve our goal of giving every child the chance to play to their hearts content.
